So we all went to Dunster for 4 days in October. 29 of us - which is more than we get usually on our walks. What a super place is Dunster.
Olde-worldy and all sorts of things get filmed there. The hotel was very friendly and the food good. There were loads of walks to choose from, but the main two were such a contrast. One on the Tuesday was along the coastal path to Lynmouth with "strong to gale force winds" then up to Watersmeet for lunch. A short stretch after for a pub stop near the car park at the start/finish. About 7.5 miles in all. The other on the Thursday was across Exmoor. 5 miles with stunning views from start to finish. And in between those walks we managed to fit in a visit to Arlington (National Trust).
Well done to June our Social Sec who organised the holiday. No doubt the next one will be just as good.
