I want to enter the start place into my satnav!
My satnav will accept a grid reference and give me directions to it just as if I had entered a postcode. Check your instruction manual as you may have to ensure that the "Coordinates" option is set for OS-BNG ( Ordnance Survey - British National Grid) or something like that. MIne has to have a ten number figure and, if yours is the same, programme in extra noughts like the example:
TQ589465 would be entered as TQ 58900 46500
Alternatively, click on the appropriate link above and, once in the Streetmap page, click on "Click here to convert coordinates". Alternative coordinates, including the postcode, will then be displayed.
